Drew Dillon is ranked in the top ten in weightlifting in the United States for the 85kg class. As an athlete, he has been blessed with the opportunity to work with a number of great coaches, and has excelled quickly through the ranks in the U.S. in his short time of lifting of three years. Drew is a state record holder and so far has finished as high as fourth in the U.S. at Nationals. His best lifts are right around a 300lb snatch, 370lb clean and jerk, and a 400+lb front squat and 500+lb back squat.


As a weightlifting coach, Drew has studied along side Mark Cannella in teaching high level Olympic weightlifting technique, and also had the opportunity to assist in coaching Holley Mangold to her first Olympics in London.


Drew has worked extensively with athletes in both the CrossFit world and the collegiate strength and conditioning world. His knowledge and skills around the lifts has made him requested around the world, and he just recently worked with athletes from over seven different countries in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Drew is leading Columbus Weightlifting in remote coaching and is very focused to help other athletes and coaches living any distance away.
