Kendall Giles is an author, engineer, teacher, and researcher. He has worked in a variety of fields and industries, including medical imaging, defense intelligence, knowledge discovery, and computational statistics. He has designed and taught a variety of courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

 

A lifelong student of fitness and martial arts, Kendall currently trains in muay Thai, but enjoys a variety of martial arts and fitness activities, including parkour, Western and traditional martial arts, strength training, and bodyweight training.

 

Kendall earned an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech and a PhD from Johns Hopkins University in computer science.
