Michael Boyle is a strength and conditioning coach and educator in the arena of performance training, personal training, and athletic rehabilitation. Boyle has been involved in the training and rehabilitation of a wide range of athletes, including stars in every major professional sport. He has also served as a consultant to some of the top teams in the NFL, NHL, as well as numerous NCAA Division I athletic programs. Boyle has been involved in Olympic gold medal efforts in both women’s soccer and women’s ice hockey, and is the current strength and conditioning coach for the United States Women’s National Ice Hockey Team.

 

In 2012 and 2013, Boyle was a strength and conditioning consultant to the Boston Red Sox, winners of the 2013 World Series. In addition, from 1991-1999 he served as the strength and conditioning coach for the Boston Bruins, and from 1983-2012 he served as the strength and conditioning coach at Boston University. In 2016, Boyle released his fourth book, New Functional Training for Sports.
