Shannon Franklin is a fifty-year-old coach and masters athlete with a passion for prevention. Having suffered a severe back injury herself, she understands the frustrations that aging and failing to listen to your body can have. Her life’s mission is to coach strength and conditioning in a comprehensive manner leaving no stone unturned regarding efficacy while focusing on longevity in sport through injury prevention.
Currently leading a weightlifting team with athletes ranging from ages twelve to fifty, Shannon has coached masters lifters to the national level with the World Masters Cup on this year’s horizon. She also is Co-Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and Owner of CrossFit Survival in La Crescenta, California.
