Zach Even-Esh still has his copy of Arnold's Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding in his office today. He first read it while in middle school, from start to finish in one reading. He began wrestling his freshman year of high school. He didn't win a match until his second year of wrestling, in December of 1990. He mowed lawns to save up for his muscle magazines and his now legendary library of strength and conditioning magazines and books began.
Earning an undergraduate and graduate degree in health sciences, making his own attempts at a professional career in athletics, and hunting down his favorite coaches with endless questions, Zach became the coach he is today and the man behind Underground Strength.
