Athlete Journal, Entry 25: Fitting It In
Had to move my workout to my lunch break as my wife was working late and I would have both kids, and wouldn’t be able to hit the gym that day. The workout was fairly rushed for this reason.
Was planning on making a run at 475, but the weights felt like they were going to crush me today after Saturday’s massive session and the 225x31 incline press Thursday. So I pulled it back to 465, which was a good call as I didn’t have anything more in me.
Overhead Press – Smith Machine
Rolling Tricep Extension
180x7…could have done more put felt a tweak in left tricep
Mobility work 10min
1-Leg AFS Leg Press
Meant to come in and hit some more work Thursday but didn’t happen.
Missed RE/DE (repeated effort/dynamic effort) work on Thursday and thought about skipping entirely but changed mind and ran into the gym at lunch.
Superset 4 or 5 passes of each
Tricep Extension w/Sled
Bent Over Rows
1-arm Sled rows – REALLY liked these!!!!
Approx. 250lbs x 5 passes/arm
Nice stretch and awesome range of motion, not to mention little strain on low back.
