Athlete Journal, Entry 37 - In Sickness and In Travel

 

With two kids in daycare, an elementary school teacher wife, and managing a manufacturing facility interacting with lots of people, I’m pretty much sick all winter, every winter. Such is life. I missed a week in posting my training log, but I was indeed in the gym training. And I wasn’t even sick, in fact. Last week I picked up another cold from the kids right before flying out of town on business, of course.

THURSDAY

I got back late Wednesday night. After 8 hours of flying with a cold I was not doing well Thursday morning. So I went home sick around noon. Of course my view of “medicine” is different than most…
