Welcome to the Friday Flicks! Every Friday we kick off your weekend with a fun, fitness-related video you've never seen before. If you've missed previous weeks, you can catch up on them HERE!
This week - a man who epitomizes what it means to be a coach, John Wooden. Wooden led the UCLA basketball team to an amazing number of wins, but he also inspired athletes of other sports and non-athletes alike with his wisdom. John Wooden, known simply as "Coach," believed that winning was not related to grades or scores, and that success had a much bigger definition when applied to life.
This video is an 18 minute TED talk and worth every minute of watching. Wooden's words apply, no matter what your journey. As he said, "Success is peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best you are capable of becoming."
