In this series we look at moving our training paradigm towards one of performance, rather than one for better looks. This will greatly enhance goal setting and increase your opportunities for success.

 

Today we're going to talk about the difference between muscular strength and muscular endurance. I'm going to use the bench press and push up as examples. We will go over good technique for both movements and discuss the common, but misguided, belief that the bench press is a strength movement, while the push up is an endurance movement.
