Welcome to the Friday Flicks! Every Friday we kick off your weekend with a fun, fitness-related video you've never seen before. If you've missed previous weeks, you can catch up on them HERE!

Olympic weightlifting can sometimes have the reputation of being about force and aggression. However, we don't think anyone could look at this video of Lydia Valentin, a Spanish weightlifter competing mainly in the women's 75 kg category, and not admire the subtlety and finesse of the sport, and indeed this lift. In fact, the more you know about weightlifting, the more beautiful this lift becomes. It is simply the best example we have seen of keeping the bar close throughout the entire lift. Not just throughout the first two pulls, but also throughout the third pull as she gets herself under the bar.

Have you seen any better example of keeping the bar close? Let us know in the comments!
