Giulio discovered his interest in fitness at an early age. His first job at the age of 14 was at Olympia gym in New Hampshire, where he first was exposed to weightlifting. Since then, he has continued his education in the field through a commitment to his personal fitness and continued growth. As a music student at Berklee College of Music, Giulio learned about the dangers of overuse injuries and chronic movement dysfunctions associated with musicians in particular, as well as other sedentary and chronically repetitive lifestyles.
Through this experience, Giulio developed a philosophy of using active flexibility as a tool to bridge the gap between mobility and strength training, focusing on optimizing posture and increasing range of motion safely. Giulio believes that strength training is key to reinforcing proper movement, and therefore is crucial to progress from flexibility to mobility, to strength for long term health and fitness.
Currently, Giulio is a NASM certified trainer on staff at Velocity Sports Performance in Los Angeles, where he works with a wide range of clientele.
