This smoothie is fast to prepare and provides important nutrients to fuel the breastfeeding mother.

Lactation Nourishment: Green Protein Smoothie

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 cup fresh kale
  • 1/2 cup fresh spinach
  • 3 tablespoons cashew butter
  • 1 soft medjool date, pitted
  • 3 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • 1 cup frozen mangos, chopped

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients into a blender and blend to desired consistency.
