Instructions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, spinach, onions, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.

Step 2

Mix ingredients together with hands until thoroughly combined.

Step 3

Roll out meatballs (about 1 1/2 inches in diameter) and place them on the bottom of the slow cooker. Meatballs can be touching, but be sure to place them in a single layer along the bottom of the slow cooker.

Step 4

Pour an entire jar of tomato sauce over meatballs so they are completely covered.

Step 5

Turn the slow cooker on low and cook for 6 to 7 hours or until meatballs are cooked through.

Step 6

Enjoy over spaghetti squash, noodles, on a sandwich, or on their own.
