Hit some pretty good numbers this week on the dumbbell bench press, hip thrust, squat, and deadlift, and re-introduced military presses as well. Solid week overall.
I did curls in my workout this week. Yes, that's right - curls. I'm starting to rethink their usefulness. I also hit a PR on my weighted chin ups. Check out the video in my journal this week.
Testing out my back this week with moderate weights, after my injury to my low back last week. Things seem to be healing up fine, just taking my time and being careful.
Lifting with a flexed lumbar spine doesn't guarantee injury, but lifting with a neutral spine doesn't necessarily guarantee safety. I learned this lesson this week and am recovering now.
This week I hit my "100th Workout in 2012" milestone. But it wasn't feeling like the greatest week actually, so it was mostly about maintenance the last couple workouts.
