Friday Flicks: David Goggins, Navy SEAL and Ultra Runner

Breaking Muscle HQ

Real Athletes. Real Coaches. Real Knowledge.

Welcome to the Friday Flicks! Every Friday we kick off your weekend with a fun, fitness-related video you've never seen before. If you've missed previous weeks, you can catch up on them HERE!

In honor of our writer Andrew Read doing the Ironman Melbourne this weekend, we're sharing one of his favorite videos. Meet David Goggins, U.S. Navy SEAL and ultramarathon athlete. David began running a number of years ago in order raise money for the families of soldiers who died in Afghanistan. He has gone on to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars, and also holds the world's record for most pull-ups done in 24 hours - he did 4,025 in 17 hours. This, too, was done as a money-raising effort.
