Nicole's Fit Mom Holiday Wish List

1. Gibbons Red Classic X13 Slackline ($69.99)

Now that we have all the basics in our home gym, in 2014 I'd like to spice things up a bit. Having a slackline will help me improve my balance and will also be great entertaininment for the kids. To top it all off, we could do some really cool party tricks on this thing when we have guests  over for dinner.

2. Ultimate Sandbag Training Package ($69.99)

Sandbags seem like great training tools for moms, since we're always lifting unstable objects throughout the day. Plus it just looks like a lot of fun. This package from Josh Henkin includes a shell, filler bag, and DVD to help get started in sandbag training.

3. Rogue "Bella" Barbell ($216.00)

I've been eyeing this barbell for a very long time now, and I think it's time to put it on my wish list. Right now I use a standard Olympic barbell, so this would be really nice to have, especially for warmups.

4. Again Faster Gymnastics Rings Package ($129.99)

My gymnastics skills are a bit lacking, so I think some rings are definitely a must for our home gym. Once again, these would be great for our kids as well. Plus, how many kids can say their mom does muscle ups out in the garage? I'd love to be that mom.

5. New Balance Minimus 10v2 ($109.99)

Right now I have the New Balance Minimus WR10v2 Trail Running shoes and I love them. I know minimalist running isn't for everyone, but for me it was an almost immediate fix for chronic shin splints. Although I actually use the trail running shoes for many purposes, I'd like to get these to use specifically for running on pavement. (P.S. I like the orange ones.)

6. Moving Comfort Juno Sports Bra ($56.00)

I just had a baby a few months ago and have heard this sports bra is great for nursing moms. The website describes this bra as a "gravity-defying powerhouse," which sounds like a winner to me.

7. Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Bakers Bundle ($33.13)

I have plenty of almond flour and coconut sugar in my pantry, but I'm still missing a lot of essentials for gluten-free baking. This gift set would also please my children very much, since they've been deprived of many desserts due to this predicament. The set contains gluten-free all-purpose flour, potato starch, white and brown rice flour, sorghum flour, and tapioca flour.

8. Fatworks Triple Fat Pack ($47.47)

This package includes a three 14.8oz jars of duck fat, tallow, and lard produced from pasture-raised, grassfed animals. Need I say more? The folks at Fatworks say they're sold out, but I'm hoping they see this wish list and decide to make more.

9. InstantPot IP-LUX60 6-in-1 Programmable Pressure Cooker, 6.33-Quart ($119.99)

I learned about this thing a few months back in the Breaking Muscle forums, and have been dreaming of it ever since. This device has six - yes, six - functionsIt can serve as a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, warmer, or you can also use it to saute or brown food.

10. Cuisinart CSB-75 Smart Stick 2-Speed 200-Watt Immersion Hand Blender ($34.95)

We eat a lot of soup in our family, and I've been wanting one of these ever since an unfortunate incident a few months back that involved hot soup and our food processor. This one was recommended by Kristen Michaelis of Food Renegade, so I'm sure it's a good one.
