In this video, Ben shares four movements to improve your leg and core strength for snowboarding. These will also help you to keep you away from injury on the mountains.
- Low side-to-side lunge: This works well as a warm up. Start high and go lower as you get warmer.
- Corkscrew lift: This helps you to prepare for the rotational aspects of being on the board.
- Drop lunge: This works your legs asymmetrically and helps strengthen your hips too.
- Step deck squat: This will get you prepared for getting off the lift or getting up after you've strapped into your board!
