Friday Flicks: Team Hoyt

This week's video features Team Hoyt, a father-son duo. If you don't know their story don't miss it. Grab some tissues if you're the sentimental type – it's a tearjerker!

Welcome to the Friday Flicks! Every Friday we kick off your weekend with a fun, fitness-related video you've never seen before. If you've missed previous weeks, you can catch up on them HERE!

Team Hoyt consists of Dick and Rick Hoyt, ages 72 and 51, a father-son duo. Rick was born with cerebral palsy, and despite doctors' advice to institutionalize him, his parents decided to raise him as a normal child. Despite his condition, Rick has led quite an accomplished life by competing with his father. The two have completed over two hundred triathlons and seventy marathons, including thirty runs at the Boston Marathon. At the 2013 Boston Marathon they were stopped a mile from the finish line due to the tragic bombings.
