- The first variation uses two kettlebells to perform a single leg bent-over row.
- The second variation uses a weight plate, and combines a single leg press with a single leg deadlift to create a whole body exercise.
- The third variation uses a barbell for a single leg deadlift to emphasis the glutes and hamstrings a little more than the weight plate.
- The fourth and last exercise uses a bench as the starting point for a single leg get-up.
