Arsy Vartanian writes the paleo lifestyle blog Rubies & Radishes. She discovered the paleo diet, shortly after starting CrossFit in 2007. She was hooked immediately, as she felt great and was able to overcome many health issues she had been struggling with. As she started to understand the connection between nutrition and her own health, she could not read enough books, blogs and articles about nutrition. She is currently studying to receive a Masters in Human Nutrition.
Arsy is also the author of a cookbook, The Paleo Slow Cooker. When she isn’t working at her day job, blogging, or taking care of her new baby, she is lifting weights at Santa Cruz Strength.
