During his childhood, Ben was always the fat kid. He rarely did anything strenuous and was regularly bullied because of his weight. The exact same story for millions of people all over the world.
Ben's journey with fitness began age eighteen. He bought my first weights set (an awful bench set with plastic coated weights discs) and began what would become a passion. At this time he made some, albeit slow, progress. His slow progress continued until 2009 when he made the first in a series of decisions that would change his life.
Ben became an RKC in October 2011 and has attended multiple RKC events since as an assistant. He was the first ever StrongFirst instructor in the United Kingdom and Ireland and currently runs Cork Kettlebell Club, training everyone from weekend warriors to international rugby players
