Dan Bell is a USA Weightlifting National (Level 2) coach and head coach at Rubber City Weightlifting in Akron, Ohio. He has coached weightlifters to the national and international level, and helped hundreds of athletes improve their weightlifting technique and strength. Coach Bell has been involved in weight training and barbell sports for over 40 years. His strength journey has taken him from preparing athletes for high school football and wrestling to powerlifting, strongman training, and finally, weightlifting. He considers weightlifting to be the most difficult and demanding of the barbell sports, requiring a degree of strength, flexibility, explosiveness, and agility matched by no other sport.
