Scott Abramouski is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, specializing in Exercise Science. He also holds specializations in Health Promotion and Fitness Leadership from MSU. Scott is currently certified as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-CPT), Level One CrossFit Trainer, International Youth Conditioning Association - Youth Fitness Specialist, and under USA Gymnastics as a Recreational Coach.
Scott has experience in a wide range of training including bodybuilding, powerlifting, Olympic lifting, CrossFit, and gymnastics. He is a current member under the National Physique Competitor Association (NPC), competing in the past as a physique competitor. Scott has also competed in multiple CrossFit competitions throughout Michigan placing in the top five on various occasions and recently placed in the top 10% in the Central East Regional of the CrossFit Open.
Scott is currently under his second year as a trainer at the State of Fitness in East Lansing, Michigan. On a daily basis he trains a wide demographic of clients ranging from eight to eighty year olds to. He is the founder of State of Fitness’s Junior Sports Performance Academy (eight to twelve years old). Along with coaching, Scott has taken a great interest in writing blogs for State of Fitness as well as the IYCA, hoping to continue broadening his horizon.
