Athlete Journal: Charles Staley, Entry 11 – 100 Workouts in 2012

This week I hit my “100th Workout in 2012” milestone. But it wasn’t feeling like the greatest week actually, so it was mostly about maintenance the last couple workouts.

Only two sessions this week – I took Thursday’s disappointing pulls as a sign I need a bit of additional rest. I’m currently about 8 weeks out from Worlds.

Bodyweight: 210 lbs

According to my Strong iPhone app, this is my 100th workout of 2012. Low back feeling tweaky and unrecovered from Monday’s heavy squats – took it by feel but ended up missing 415 – not a “true” miss, but just didn’t feel like dealing with it.

Took this session as an opportunity for a light or “maintenance” session mostly. I’ll get back in high gear on Saturday
