Athlete Journal: Chris Duffin, Entry 45 – Knowing When to Stop

During my training this week I had a few moments where I could have kept going but stopped due to pain or discomfort. The last thing I need after all the rehab work is another injury.

My left shoulder was aching so I did some light work to stimulate blood flow and then called it a day.

THURSDAY

I got out of work late and was running late to the gym.

Safety Squat Bar Box Squats to 14” box

No belt or wraps

475+100×1 – I was planning on five but during the second rep I felt a pop in my right leg so I sat on the box. I didn’t feel pain but decided to take it easy and not do much else.
