Gymnastics Workout: Cycle 3, Week 10, Day 4

Repetition is what makes a gymnast so good at their sport. The third cycle of Gymnastics Workouts focuses on repetitive skill work to help you achieve basic movements.

The third cycle of the Gymnastics Workouts will focus on progression with repetition. What makes a gymnast so good at their sport is repetition of skills. To become better and stronger at a particular skill, you need to work that skill on a regular basis. In this cycle we will be concentrating on a few skills that we will repeat every week.

Week 10, Day 4

3 Sets of:

  • 1:00 Left Split
  • 1:00 Right Split
  • 1:00 Middle Split

Chris Lofland coached and competed in the sport of gymnastics for over a decade. In 2007 he became a CrossFit coach and began coaching the CrossFit Gymnastics certifications. Since then, Chris has started his own seminar series covering gymnastics, weightlifting, and general movement. In 2016, he opened up BlueWave Fitness in Fort Worth, TX, where he coaches general fitness, performance fitness, weightlifting, and competitive Crossfit athletes.
