Kyle has been involved in the fitness industry since he was 15 years old. He was working at a local commercial gym when his sister, also a trainer at the time, turned him on to CrossFit. The next weekend he started interning at the local CrossFit gym.
In 2012, Kyle received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at the University of Maryland. During his time at Maryland, he worked with the Strength and Conditioning department assisting with lacrosse, football, baseball, track & field, soccer, volleyball, and wrestling. He also spent time assisting with the strength team at Georgetown University.
Upon graduating college, Kyle has opened his own gym called Old Line CrossFit in Millersville, Maryland. In 2017, Kyle became a Level-3 CrossFit coach earning the Certified CrossFit Trainer (CCFT) designation. He also is a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance coach.
Kyle has guided what is now over a thousand beginners through the basics of CrossFit methodologies. Several of his beginners over the years are now full-time coaches or gym owners themselves. He enjoys being able to make concepts within the fitness field palatable for anyone to understand and apply to their lives.
