Run 880 yards x 1 – at a good pace
Run 440 yards x 2 – at a good pace
Rest intervals should be 3x the time it took you to complete the prior run.
For the longer runs on day one of this plan, use the High-School track. Two laps of the track = 880 yards while one lap = 440 yards. As you progress from day one, all of your sprinting is done on the football field. This is done so that you have an accurate way to measure the distances.
