Here’s the thing about Tia-Claire Toomey, she hadn’t been doing CrossFit for a long time when she made it to her first games in 2015. Her background was in track and field but she represented her country at the Olympic Games in Rio in the 58 kg category in weightlifting. That’s 2016.
The same year as she competed in her second CrossFit Games. She was 2nd on the podium. She has been number one ever since.

Tia-Clair Toomey, after the first day of the 2021 No Bull CrossFit Games, is sitting on top of the leaderboard, having come in first place in all but one of the four events and placing second in the event four, at the end of a long, hard day of doing nothing but winning.
You see where I am going with this? It is just exhausting trying to keep up with typing out her achievements. Tia-Clair Toomey is on her way to being the greatest CrossFit athlete of all time.
