Alex graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in psychology, where he helped manage a research team that studied motivation theory. Alex is a certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), as well as a recipient of the Community Leadership Award from the President's Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition. Alex writes and speaks on a variety of health, wellness, and lifestyle topics.
