It’s that time of year again. Thoughts are turning to the impending CrossFit Games Open. Some will be entering for the first time with their eyes wide open. Others will be going in as seasoned competitors, used to the sights and smells of competition. As the start of the qualification process for the CrossFit Games Final, there is a lot at stake for those that are of a high enough level to make it through to the next stage, the regionals. Since qualification is often based on a few seconds here and an extra rep there, the Open can become a time of heightened, and sometimes mixed emotions.
