You Wanted More Access

We’re all coaches here at Breaking Muscle, and we remember back to when we each were running gyms, be they BJJ, CrossFit, or otherwise. We were deluged every day with messages asking when the next day’s workout would be announced. The Breaking Muscle workouts are no different – you need to be able to schedule your training sessions. We know you have busy lives but still want to make time to train.

Workouts Now Post Weekly

When we start a new Featured Coach Strength and Conditioning workout series, we get a flood of requests for more programming sooner. It took us some time, but we’re now able to do that for you.

Instead of posting the workouts each day as we were doing, now you get a full week of training sessions every Monday. You can make sure they get delivered right to your computer with our RSS feed.

Primal Play Premieres on Breaking Muscle

This week, we premiered our newest Featured Coach training plan: Darryl Edwards’s Primal Play and Paleo Fitness Program. One week of Darryl’s programming posts each Monday for four weeks. Once it’s all up, as with any of our training programs, you can view, download, and print a PDF of the entire program.

You might not know that we offer over a dozen other training programs, free of charge, to our readers. Each program is written by a well-known and respected coach in his or her discipline.

Training Programs Written Exclusively for Breaking Muscle Readers

Wes Kennedy: Special Forces Training Plan – to get you ready for the selection process or just help you to train like a special forces operative.

Jeff Kline: Triathlon Workouts – our first cycle trained you for a sprint distance triathlon, our second cycle gets you ready for an Olympic distance tri event.

Chris Lofland: Gymnastics Workouts – to help athletes of all ages build a strong gymnastics foundation.

Doug DuPont: MMA and BJJ Workouts – a year-long training program to build strength, flexibility, and endurance. Includes a weight-cutting phase at the end to prepare you for competition day.
