Nicole Crawford
Although she was a dancer during her childhood and practiced yoga regularly in college, Nicole didn’t fully realize the importance of fitness until her first pregnancy. She found that regular aerobic activity and resistance training combined with a balanced diet not only alleviated many uncomfortable pregnancy symptoms, but also increased her energy levels and overall sense of well-being. Her enthusiasm for prenatal fitness led her to become certified by the American Fitness Professionals and Associates as a Pre- and Post-Natal fitness specialist in 2010, and she completed the program just before the birth of her second child.
As a mother of two, Nicole enjoys finding ways to fit fitness into her own daily routine while also promoting a healthy family lifestyle, with fun activities like family yoga, hiking and cycling, as well as more structured family workouts. In addition to her background in the fitness field, Crawford has a love for literature and obtained her Master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Leuven, Belgium in 2009. In her spare time, Crawford enjoys hiking, working out, cooking, reading, sewing, spinning and brushing up on her ballet skills.
